Welcome to the gorgeously whimsical wedding of Sarah and Mike, captured to perfection by LookLoveWed's fotographiebyflorence!
Sarah had hours on hand to dream up this fun and fanciful wedding while Mike was away working in Doha. She wanted their special day to be enjoyed by all and for their guests to feel totally at home. Her gorgeous bridesmaids were in original dresses designed by the bride and made by a family friend. They were adorned with jewellery made by Sarah herself from her fantastic label Morepork & Magpie, each including a tiny pearl and gold ring to say thank you. The ceremony was held at Woodford House Chapel complete with singing from their resident choir. Being an old girl of Woodford who sung in the choir, this was Sarah’s dream come true.Sarah’s parents opened up their gorgeous home for the reception, including a stunning floating marquee in the backyard. Guests were able to go inside to sit down or explore, or sip champagne in the french inspired seating area, by the chandelier lit elm tree.Together with her mother and friends, Sarah decorated the tables with flowers she had chosen and vintage vases they had all collected. Each table was different but beautifully in theme and no head table meant Sarah & Mike could celebrate among their friends and family. The most decadent dessert table was set up in the marquee, adorned with 6 flavours of cake, sitting amongst her mother’s treasured silverware. The night was nothing short of magical. A canopy of lanterns dripping from the marquee to the outdoor dance floor could be seen swinging in the wind, whilst a chest of dress up’s from the couple’s younger days was used to top off the fun-filled and whimsical atmosphere of this gorgeous, gorgeous day.
Sarah and Mike, thank you so much for sharing your truly stunning day with us! You created a magical wedding and we wish you all the best for your future years together.
